This is how the mill should look once restored, but having arrived as a set of parts, it will be a while before I can display it reassembled and working. The 1C is quite heavy once assembled and is said to absorb the output of a 6HP engine when working to capacity.
The images below show the magnitude of the task ahead. The "kit" is thought to be complete, but the bearings are heavily worn and have been crudely repaired, so I am considering the maunfacture of replacements from hollow leaded bronze tube.
