| RA Lister & Co produced a range of pumping sets
driven by their engines (and later by electric motors). The pumps were also
available as separate units. Illustrated here is the smallest pump in the series, the H1. The pump is fittted with fast and loose pulleys for belt drive. |

The plate attached to the air vessel indicates that the pump was originally a component of pumping set No. 59874. |
| The Lister H2, is designed to pump larger volumes to a
higher head or pressure. This example is fitted with a sprocket wheel for drive
by a roller chain (bicycle chain). The reciprocating piston is bronze to resist corrosion. Unfortunately this pump has lost its identification plate, so its origins are not clear. |
